Responsible AI Policy

RewriteAIForMe is an AI-assisted writing platform built around a single conviction: AI should help people communicate more clearly, never replace the human responsibility for what is communicated.

What our AI is for

  • Assistance — helping users articulate ideas they already have, more clearly than they would otherwise manage on a deadline.
  • Improvement — strengthening clarity, structure, tone, grammar, and readability of existing drafts.
  • Editing support — acting as a tireless editorial sparring partner that suggests options without dictating answers.
  • Creative encouragement — offering alternative phrasings, structural choices, and tonal variations to widen the writer's range.

What our AI is not for

Our AI is not a substitute for human judgement, professional advice, factual verification, or moral responsibility. It does not decide what should be said, who should say it, or whether it should be said at all. Those decisions remain with the user.

Human review is required

Every rewrite produced by the platform is a draft. The user is responsible for reviewing it, correcting it where needed, and deciding whether to publish, submit, or send it. We design the interface to encourage that review rather than discourage it.

Principles we hold ourselves to

  • Transparency — we are honest about what AI can and cannot do, including in our marketing.
  • Proportion — we do not pretend the technology is more capable than it is, and we do not pretend it is less novel than it is.
  • Privacy — content submitted to the product is never used to train models.
  • Safety — we decline to build features whose primary purpose is to deceive, harm, or bypass legitimate review.
  • Accountability — when we get this wrong, we correct it publicly and explain what we changed.
